Anubhav Khanal

I have completed my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Pulchowk Campus, Institute of Engineering, Tribhuvan University.

I am currently a Research Assistant at NAAMII (Nepal Applied Mathematics and Informatics Institute for Research), where I work under the guidance of Dr. Danda Pani Paudel and Prof. François Rameau. My research focuses on adding semantic information to 3D Gaussian and investigating its applications in camera localization.

Additionally, at NHU.AI, I work on optimizing Gaussian Splat compression and developing prompt-based 3D scene editing techniques.

Looking ahead, my research vision is to develop models capable of comprehensive world understanding and advanced spatial reasoning. Furthermore, I want to explore the applications of these models in enabling immersive 4D experiences on edge devices and embodied agents.

iHuman lets you reconstruct high fidelity 3D Gaussian Splats and 3D Mesh from monocular video of moving humans.

Projects

  • Space-XR: Built a real-time collaborative web based 3D application to create and animate 3D scene.

  • Grapher: Developed a application capable of plotting graphs of mathematical functions as well as plotting graphs of functions estimated using a set of points.

  • Where do we go now: Developed a web based application that gives you the best route between multiple cities (Traveling Salesman Problem).
